Description:

• Performing operational due diligence on prospective and current hedge fund managers including daily interaction with the portfolio management and risk teams, meeting with hedge fund CFO's and Compliance Officers and documentation and analysis of meetings
  
• Candidate must have strong written and verbal communication skills and work well in a team environment
  
• Perform benchmark analytics on underlying fund managers
  
• Perform quarterly and annual analytics on underlying fund managers including financial statement analysis
  
• Develop and coordinate internal training seminars
  
• Compile information on underlying fund managers and coordinate formal background investigations with external firm
  
• Coordination of special projects when applicable
  
• There will be domestic and international travel

Requirements:

• 4-7 years accounting/finance experience
  
• Relevant experience in hedge fund/fund of hedge funds
  
• Strong academics
  
• Top rated at firm
  
• CPA preferred
  
• Excellent presentation skills
  
• Excellent interpersonal skills
  
• Excellent ability to interact with senior level management
  
• Ability to multi-task, organized
  
• Prefer Public Accounting experience, however they will consider someone from another fund of funds or hedge fund in a due diligence role or someone in a controller's position in one of those environments
  
• Willing to travel overnight approximately 5 days a month plus day trips (where they would leave and come back on the same day).
