A Welsh public pension fund has picked State Street Global Advisors to fill a £20 million absolute return fund of hedge funds mandate.
Clwyd Pension Fund’s money will be invested in SSgA’s SSARIS multi-manager strategy, which targets returns of 3% to 6% over U.S. Treasuries. The selection of SSgA was made by the Flintshire County Council.
“We are confident that SSARIS will meet our investment objectives,” Philip Latham, manager of the pension fund, said.
