Multi-family office advisory Athena Capital Advisors is launching a hedge fund.
Athena Alpha Investors Holdings will be managed by two of the Lincoln, Mass.-based firm’s senior executives, CEO Lisette Cooper and general counsel Leonard Lewin, the Boston Business Journal reports. Cooper founded the firm in 1993, while Lewin joined a year-and-a-half ago from law firm Gadsby Hannah.
The firm has already raised $57.6 million, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing. The money came from just two investors, who were not identified.
