Balyasny Carbon Trader Joins BofA

Bank of America-Merrill Lynch has added a hedge fund manager to its London carbon emissions trading team.

Iain McKie has joined BofA-Merrill from Balyasny Asset Management. He had worked at the Chicago-based hedge fund since 2007.

“Iain has been involved in emissions markets since their start and most recently worked for a hedge fund,” Abyd Karmali, global head of carbon emissions BofA-Merrill, told Reuters.
