Norwegian Electric Car Maker Plans U.S. Factory, Eyes Michigan

Norwegian electric car maker Think plans to open a manufacturing plant in the United States to produce its TH!NK city vehicles, the company said Thursday.

Think is in talks with eight U.S. states, one of which is Michigan, as potential sites for the plant which is expected to start production in 2010. The company expects to produce 2,500 units during its first year and 16,000 per year in the first stage of operation.
