DOE Offers $43M Loan Guarantee For Beacon Power Flywheel Project

Massachusetts-based Beacon Power Corporation has received a conditional commitment from the U.S. Department of Energy for a loan guarantee of approximately $43 million to finance more than 60% of the company’s planned flywheel-based energy storage plant.
