U.K.-based Dalton Strategic Partnership has hired Sally Macdonald as partner and fund manager of a new pan Asian fund.
Macdonald will manage the Melchior Selected Trust: Asian Advantage Fund, which DSP expects to launch on March 1. Previously, Macdonald served as senior fund manager at Morley Fund Management, where she was responsible for the Asian equity team which managed 17 funds representing over $5 billion in assets under management. She directly managed eight of those funds.
Dalton currently manages $3.7 billion in assets.
