Texas Pension Allocates $100 million To Investcorp

The $105 billion Teachers Retirement System of Texas has verbally committed to allocate $100 million to fund of hedge funds shop Investcorp, according to Howard Goldman, a spokesman for TRS.

The system currently has $1.8 billion invested in single-manager funds and $250 million in private equity emerging manager fund of funds Credit Suisse Emerging Opportunities Fund.
