Research firm TABB Group has added a hedge fund veteran to its Chicago-based U.S. research team.

E. Paul Rowady has been named a senior analyst at TABB, where he has been a contributing analyst since last year. Rowady joins the firm from Alphacution, where he served as a managing director for five years, focusing on its event-risk management and research platform and data model.

Prior to joining Alphacution, Rowady was managing director of research at Ritchie Capital Management.

“Paul’s 20 years of hedge fund industry experience on and off the trading floor will be a tremendous asset to our research and consulting client base,” said Larry Tabb, founder and CEO at TABB Group. “His excellent background includes a unique mix of research, trading technology and software development as well as hedge fund management expertise at a corner office executive level.”
