Santander Beefs Up Hedge Fund of Funds Marketing Team

Grupo Santander has appointed Ben Whitfield as senior vice-president of business development to focus on marketing its Optimal Investment Services, a US$8 billion fund of hedge funds managed by Santander Asset Management, to institutional investors in the U.K. and northern Europe.

Previously, Whitfield was a director of London-based private equity and corporate finance firm AngelBourse and was previously a senior member of the equity sales team at Cazenove.
