Terry Berland, chief of staff at Russell Investments, is set to join a New York hedge fund.
Berland will leave the investment advisory firm tomorrow. He worked at the Tacoma, Wash.-based firm for just nine months.
It is unclear which hedge fund Berland will join. He served as head of global purchasing at Barclays in New York before joining Russell last year.
At Russell, Berland focused on strategy, corporate development, marketing, branding, public relations, communications and corporate-level program management, according to the Tacoma News Tribune.
