Hedge Fund Twin Adds Marketing, I.R. Chief

Mar 23 2010 | 3:21am ET

Hedge fund Twin Capital Management has hired industry veteran Kevin Gahwyler to head its marketing and investor relations operations.

Gahwyler joins the New York-based event-driven specialist from KenCole Capital, the boutique investment bank he founded. KenCole specialized in hedge fund structures and marketing. Before founding his own firm, he was product specialist at Pequot Capital Management and director of marketing at Sagamore Hill Capital Management. He also worked at GM Asset Management as a senior member of its internal fund of hedge funds.

“Mr. Gahwyler’s hire marks the first real institutional marketing effort of Twin in its long history,” firm founder David Simon said. Simon established Twin in 1988.
