Toronto’s SAMI Hires Hartford Trader

Canadian hedge fund Selective Asset Management has added a trader to its team.

Colin Watson joins from Hartford Investments Canada, where he was a member of the finance team.

At Toronto-based SAMI, Watson will work with longtime portfolio manager Robert McWhirter, who runs the firm’s Long-Biased Equity Hedge Fund with C$997.25 million in assets. The firm is employee-owned.
