Citadel Asia Exec. Jumps To JPMorgan

Citadel Investment Group’s Asia chief has been named the new head of equity derivatives at JPMorgan Chase.

Tim Throsby has been named global head of stock derivatives and regional head of equities for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He will be based in London.

The former Lehman Brothers executive—he headed equity derivatives, convertibles and risk arbitrage at the doomed bank—returns to banking from Citadel, where he managed the Chicago-based alternative investment giant’s Asia and Japan businesses.
