JPMorgan Emerging Markets Vet Morrell Joins Sloane Robinson

Hedge fund firm Sloane Robinson has added a former JPMorgan Chase hedge fund manager to its emerging markets team.

Christopher Morrell will work at Phoenicia, the firm’s emerging markets hedge fund unit, Investment Week reports.

Morrell left JPMorgan last month. At the world’s largest hedge fund manager, he managed its $218.4 million Emerging Markets Alpha Plus Fund. He was succeeded by Ashraf El Ansary.
