Deutsche Adds Merrill Securities Lending Chief

Deutsche Bank has added a 23-year Merrill Lynch veteran to help lead its securities lending effort in North America.

Keith Babbitt has joined Deutsche as a managing director and co-head of securities lending in North America in the firm’s global prime finance group. He’ll share the helm with Paul Busby, who has led securities lending for the last three years and has now been promoted to managing director. Both will be based in New York.

Babbitt has led Merrill’s North American securities lending group for the past 15 years.
