The firm will open a hedge fund servicing office in São Paulo to serve its South American clients, Bloomberg News reports. The new office will be headed locally by Marcelo Queiroz, who will move to Brazil from Morgan Stanley’s San Francisco office.
The São Paulo prime brokerage business overall will be led by Juan Coppola. Coppola will remain in New York.
