A top portfolio manager at ING is the new president of hedge fund Platinum Partners.
Uri Landesman will take up his new post in May. The position is also new for Platinum, Pensions & Investments reports.
Landesman will work with Mark Nordlicht, Platinum’s chief investment officer, on asset allocation, manager selection and due diligence at the $500 million firm. He’ll also be charged with marketing and client services to institutional investors.
At ING, Landesman was head of global growth, overseeing U.S. large-cap equities, U.S. mid-cap growth and global infrastructure.
