San Francisco Emerging Markets Specialist Adds Two Portfolio Managers

San Francisco-based emerging market specialist GCA has added two in-house portfolio managers to the China and Latin America hedge funds.

Jodie Zheng Wehner joined the firm on April 1 as portfolio manager of the GCA Greater China Fund. Previously, she was with Global Hunter Securities in San Francisco where she served as a vice president and senior research analyst.

Jesus Isidoro Duarte also joined the firm on April 1 and will serve as a portfolio manager of the GCA Latam Fund. Among other roles, Durate has served as a Latin American regional fund manager for the Montgomery Emerging Markets Fund.

GCA is a privately held firm specializing in managing and advising emerging market, alternative asset funds. Since inception in 1989, the firm and its principals have established, managed or advised in excess of 20 alternative asset funds with aggregate AUM exceeding $4.6 billion.
