Black Tower’s Carter To RenCap

Hedge fund manager Christopher Carter has joined Russian brokerage Renaissance Capital.

Carter, formerly of Black Tower Capital, will head RenCap’s equity derivatives team, Bloomberg News reports. He has been charged with expanding the firm’s derivatives, convertibles and equity financing units, with a special focus on sub-Saharan Africa.

Carter headed global equity derivates at Credit Suisse before joining Black Tower in 2007.
