KB Associates, a consulting firm to the asset management community, has appointed Phillip Chapple as an executive director in the firm's new London office.

Chapple, along with Claire Cawley, will help to setup and grow the London office, and develop the KBA product range by offering hedge fund start up consultancy, due diligence advisory services, re-domiciliation planning and infrastructure review services.

Chapple has been involved in the financial services industry since 1997 and joins from Ironshield Capital Management where he was COO. Previously he was COO at IBIS Asset Management, a US$10 billion family office.

“This senior hire underpins our commitment to the London market where we see strong growth potential, particularly assisting managers with operational set up and system selection," said Mike Kirby, principal of KB Associates.

KB Associates, which was founded in Dublin in 2003, is also considering opening offices in New York in the coming months.
