KBC Vets Gear Up To Launch Hedge Fund

A trio of former London-based KBC Alternative Investment Management executives is gearing up to launch a hedge fund later this year.

Carlo Georg, former chief investment officer at KBC Alternative Investment Management, Thomas Korossy, former co-chief executive of KBC and Mahmoud Faghihi, former chief operating officer of the hedge fund have joined forced to form Paris Capital Partners, according to Financial News.

The new vehicle will employ strategies including relative value, volatility trading, convertible bonds and credit arbitrage, a source told the publication.
