McKinsey’s Mack Moves To Bridgewater

Jun 15 2010 | 6:55am ET

Julian Mack, who led consulting firm McKinsey & Co.’s Midwest offices, is joining Bridgewater Associates.

It is unclear what Mack will do at the Westport, Conn., hedge fund giant. His move to the firm was reported by Chicago Breaking Business, which notes that he has listed his lakefront mansion in Winnetka, Ill., to take up the new post.

Mack will commute from the Chicago area to Connecticut for the next few months, he told CBB.

At McKinsey, Mack was charged with running its five Midwest offices, including its Chicago office. He said he turned over those responsibilities about three months ago and left the firm about two weeks ago.
