Roslyn, N.Y.-based hedge fund N.I.R. Group has hired Keith Novick as a senior risk analyst charged with identifying, evaluating, and analyzing portfolio risks. Before joining N.I.R., Novick was an independent options trader on The New York Board of Trade and The Commodity Exchange.
Previously, Novick traded proprietary options and futures for Singer Wenger Trading, a clearing member of the Coffee, Sugar, and Cocoa Exchange, a subsidiary of the NYBOT.
The N.I.R. Group is headed by Corey Ribotsky and has $630 million in assets under management invested in hedge funds, and an additional $622 million invested in PIPE investments. The firm also manages other types of alternative investments.
