Jul 7 2010 | 11:36am ET

Alistair Sclater, the former head of UBS’ Singapore prime brokerage, has left the firm to take up the same post at Mizuho Securities.

Sclater left UBS in May, despite a report last month that he would be remaining at the Swiss bank as head of its Singapore office. David Forsyth took over as head of prime brokerage in Singapore last month.

Sclater starts his new job in August, Bloomberg News reports.
