A former analyst with Long Term Capital Management, which collapsed spectacularly a dozen years ago, has joined Capula Investment Management.
Ayman Hindy joined the London-based firm as a partner in January, Capula said in a regulatory filing. He comes to the $3.5 billion firm from Platinum Grove Asset Management, the troubled hedge fund led by LTCM co-founder Myron Scholes.
Hindy is working in portfolio management at Capula and moved to its U.S. office in June.
