Hedgebay Taps Clavel For U.K. Marketing

Jul 20 2010 | 11:41am ET

Hedgebay Trading, the hedge fund secondary markets provider, has named Lindsey Clavel to head its British marketing efforts.

Clavel has been at the firm for five years, joining after stints running an Italian family office’s metals trading desk and at the U.K.’s Foreign and Commonwealth Office. The newly-minted director will oversee Hedgebay’s nascent marketing effort in the country.

"The role I’m taking on is very exciting, particularly coming at the time it does, said Clavel. "We have seen appetite for the secondary market from all participants in the investment industry, most notably pension funds, and with the secondary market now an established part of the financial mainstream, this is a great opportunity for Hedgebay to grow even further.”
