Investment banking boutique Perella Weinberg Partners has hired hedge fund manager David Zusman to head its equity strategy in a number of sectors.
Zusman, who was named a partner in the New York office, joins from hedge fund BrightStream Asset Management, where he focused on investments in old economy sectors. At Perella Weinberg, he’ll do much the same, charged with running the firm’s strategy in the basic materials, consumer, energy, industrial and utilities sectors.
Donald Krueger, who served alongside Zusman as a researcher at BrightStream, has also joined Perella Weinberg, as a research director.
