Hedge Fund Technology Provider Changes Name To Alphaserve

Alternative Asset Technology firm ComGroup Holding is now doing business under the trade name Alphaserve Technologies.

“The name ‘Alphaserve Technologies’ represents our position in the market emphasizing our unique solutions and exceptional services," said Arup Das, chief executive officer of the firm, which caters to hedge fund clients. "Our model delivers institutional class IT monitoring, management and analytics in the only true proactive format scaled to suit any size fund."

Alphaserve specializes in architecture, integration and managing the lifecycle of infrastructure technologies including applications, servers and networks. All of the firms technology assets and performance metrics are centralized and managed in a central knowledge base called RIMMA.

"The methodology of informing clients well in advance of any capital investments, potential operational risks is achieved by tracking historical data, scenario modeling, predictive analysis modeling and using our root cause analysis engines embedded in the RIMMA platform," said Eric Guttridge, chief operating officer. "The result is a well informed client with a clear road map for technology goals and objectives aligned with the business.”
