Proxy solicitation firm Okapi Partners has hired a former hedge fund adviser.
Geoff Sorbello joins from ISS/RiskMetrics, where he provided governance services, advice and mergers and acquisitions research to the proxy advisory firm’s hedge fund clients. During his time at the firm, he worked on contentious mergers and acquisitions and nasty proxy fights, Okapi said.
