Aug 10 2010 | 7:03am ET

Boston-based broker-dealer Gordon & Co. has hired Sunil Sachdev as director of business development.  Sachdev, most recently a senior prime brokerage salesperson with RBC Capital Markets, will focus on sales to emerging hedge fund managers and professional traders.

Sachdev  is based in New York and reports to Allison Salke, chief executive officer of the firm.

"We are delighted Sunil has joined our team to lead our sales effort and expand the audience of our unique option product," said Salke. "Gordon & Co. Limited Price Options can provide emerging hedge fund managers and professional traders with access to a leveraged product with significant alpha potential as compared to listed options."

Gordon and Co. has been specializing in offering "at-the-market" options since 1976.
