Dutch Hedge Funds Sink 1% In June

Hedge funds in one Low Country were lower in June, but then so were hedge funds everywhere, not just in the Netherlands.

The Finles/IEX Dutch Hedge Fund Index actually did fall slightly more than global hedge fund indices or those tracking more robust hedge fund markets. The average Dutch hedge fund—the average of the 28 tracked by the index, anyway—fell just 1.04% in June. Most global hedge fund indices recorded declines of less than 1% to close out the first half, although some showed losses larger than that of the Finles/IEX index.

The Netherlands’ best-performing hedge funds in June were the World View Global Macro Fund, QTR Fund, Trade Wind Equity Fund, Antaurus Europe Fund and IdB Real Estate Equity Fund.
