StormHarbour Adds Principal To Focus On Alternatives Biz

Financial advisory firm StormHarbour has added Thierry Sciard as a principal in the firm.

In his new role, Sciard will focus on developing strategies for a global alternative asset management business. He is also tasked with expanding the firm's European operations. Sciard will be based in the firm's London offices.

Previously, Sciard was a managing director at Fortis Investments in the firm's alternatives investments unit. He has also worked at Lehman Brothers where he was head of investment management for Europe and the Middle East.

StormHarbour specialises in the global fixed income, credit and alternatives markets. The firm was founded by Antonio Cacorino and Fredrick Chapey, and employs over 150 people in offices in London, New York, Singapore, Hong Kong and Geneva.
