AR Adds Resources, Industrials Analyst

Aug 19 2010 | 12:55pm ET

Australian hedge fund AR Capital has added an analyst to its Ascot Fund.

Craig Temby was named executive director of the fund, joining the firm from Thorney Investments. It’s not his first job with a hedge fund; Temby formerly worked at Ceres Capital after stints with Goldman Sachs and Fidelity Investments.

“Craig and I will be responsible for the fundamental research component of our investment process, which seeks to combine fundamental views with technical signals in an attempt to generate consistent returns for investors,” Craig Connelly, managing director of AR Capital, told InvestoryDaily.

Temby will focus on resource and industrial stocks trading on the Australian Securities Exchange.
