Placement agent Atlantic-Pacific Capital has added a new staffer to its private funds business and its first man on the ground in the Middle East.

The alternative investments firm has hired Sarah Sandstrom to work on capital raising for European clients, HedgeFund.net reports. Sandstrom joined Atlantic-Pacific last month from Credit Suisse/Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette, where she worked in the private funds group.

In addition, Atlantic-Pacific has hired Mohammad Almojel as a principal focused on marketing and sourcing private equity, real-estate and infrastructure funds in the Middle East. Almojel joined the firm earlier this year.
