RBC Dexia Adds HSBC Vet To Head Fund Products

Hedge fund custodian RBC Dexia Investor Services has hired David Dibben to head its global fund products group.

Dibben joins from HSBC Global Asset Management, where he served as chief operating officer of the firm’s global fund ranges. He also formerly worked at M&G (Prudential) and Henderson Global Investors.

At RBC, Dibben will oversee the strategic direction and planning of the fund products business.

“David’s extensive industry experience and specific expertise in leading major development projects make him an ideal fit for our Fund Products business,” new boss Rob Wright, global head of the product and clients segments, said.

“One of RBC Dexia’s objectives is matching employee strengths with client needs and David’s multi-disciplinary management experience is a great addition to an already stellar Fund Products team.”
