Third Point Adds Polygon’s Choo

Third Point has hired a Polygon Investments trader.

Edmund Choo focused on equity trading at Polygon, Third Point founder Daniel Loeb said in the firm’s second-quarter letter. “He is a great addition to the team,” Loeb wrote.

At Polygon, Choo traded risk-arbitrage, event-driven and long/short strategies. He joined that firm from Morgan Stanley, where he was an equity arbitrage sales and trading associate.
