Hedge Fund Consultancy Adds To Team

New York-based hedge fund consultancy Atrato Advisors has hired two research professionals to support its expanding client roster. Michael Boensch, formerly of Gleacher Fund Advisors, joined Atrato as a vice president earlier this year, and more recently, Danny Santos joined the firm from Private Client Resources, a financial reporting and analytics specialty shop.

Atrato has also landed several new mandates in recent months, predominately in the family office and independent wealth advisory space. Among the new assignments are a pair of U.S.-based clients—a $2 billion independent wealth management firm and a $1.3 billion multi-family office.

“We're thrilled to be the in position to build out our team with smart, dedicated, and highly analytical research professionals,” says Brian Reich, president of Atrato. “Mike and Danny make us better on all fronts, improving our research output as well as responsiveness to a demanding set of clients," he added.

Janna Sobolev, a partner at the firm, previously worked with Boensch at Gleacher. "As our business grows in scope and complexity, it was imperative that we build in response to and in advance of new challenges.  Having personally worked alongside Mike before, and being able to bring on Danny after a successful internship, we've watched both hit the ground running," said Sobolev.
