Fenton joins the bank from Curium Capital Advisors, which provides commodity advisory and research services to hedge funds. Fenton was CEO of Curium. Previously, he worked at Duquesne Capital Management.

Fenton took up his new post on Monday, and his appointment to the newly-created job follows JPMorgan’s acquisition of RBS Sempra Commodities’ non-U.S. business.
