The $32 billion Pennsylvania State Employees' Retirement System today issued a request for proposal for alternative investment consultants.
SERS’ alternative investment program consists of limited partnership interests in private equity investments such as leveraged buyouts, venture capital, distressed, fund-of-funds and secondary investments.
SERS’ current alternative investment allocation is 13.2% with a target allocation of 14%, and its current alternative investment contract with Cambridge Associates will expire on April 30, 2008.
The RFP is available for review and download from the Pennsylvania Department of General Services Web site. The deadline for The RFP is May 4.
