III Associates Welcomes Pair Back Into The Fold

Sep 20 2010 | 5:16pm ET

Registered investment advisory III Associates has re-hired two if its former executives, Deep Kumar and Tom Jacobs.

“Deep and Tom were longstanding contributors at III and were both with us for almost seven years.  They were the only significant personnel departures over the last several years, and it is truly a pleasure to welcome them back to the team after their short absence,” said Bill McCauley, president Boca Raton, Fla.-based III.

“III has always prided itself on its ability to identify and create asymmetric risk/return profiles, and Deep and Tom’s expertise in both interest rate strategies and option structures will be an excellent complement to the success our firm has enjoyed in this area,” added Cliff Viner, co-founder and principal.

III is a registered investment adviser in global fixed income and credit money management. The firm and its affiliate, III  Offshore Advisors, manage over $1 billion in capital.
