Amundi’s Stefan Out, Joins Hedge Fund Startup

For Matt Stefan, a short stint as co-head of Amundi Alternative Investments was apparently enough.

Stefan has left the firm, the result of the merger of Credit Agricole Asset Management and Société Générale Asset Management, to join an unidentified start-up hedge fund, HFM Week reports. Stefan was only recently appointed co-head of the firm, along with François-Regis Bocqueraz.

Amundi last year transformed its fund of hedge funds range into a managed accounts platform.
