Jefferies Asset Management has hired Joseph Pescatore as a managing director of marketing for the firm's multi-strategy asset management platform. Most recently, Pescatore worked in fundraising for private equity firm Energy Capital Partners. He previously founded and headed the capital introduction groups at both UBS Investment Bank and Lehman Brothers.

"JAM's emphasis on high quality asset management and the firm's entrepreneurial culture were key to my decision to become a part of this growing effort," said Pescatore.

"We are delighted to welcome an experienced professional like Joe Pescatore, who brings an outstanding reputation and network to JAM," said Bradford Klein, co-president of JAM.
