Brookstone Hires Head of Life Sciences Investments

Scott Moonly has been appointed v.p. of life science investments for Brookstone Capital, which specializes in alternative investment opportunities.

Moonly, who joins the firm from L.E.K. Consulting, will be responsible for identifying life science investment opportunities and performing due diligence on both private and public companies. He holds a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering.

In addition to working at L.E.K. Consulting, Moonly has served as an investment analyst with the Merrill Lynch Healthcare Group where he provided financial and strategic analysis for biotechnology and medical device companies. Brookstone has offices in Costa Mesa, Calif. and Las Vegas.
