Global placement agent Atlantic-Pacific Capital has hired Ivan Wanat as a director focused on hedge fund deal management and capital-raising. Previously, Wanat served as a vice president in Credit Suisse's private funds group, where he also oversaw capital raising for hedge fund managers, targeting institutional investors. He has also served in the hedge fund coverage and debt private placement groups at JPMorgan Securities.

Atlantic-Pacific has also promoted John Chase to principal. Chase joined the firm in September 2005 as vice president of sales distribution raising capital for private equity funds and transactions. Previously, Chase raised capital for Lazard Asset Management.
