Hedge fund administrator Maples Finance has spent the past year-and-a-half rebuilding its business, and has now emerged restructured—and with a new name.

The firm is now called Maples Fund Services. Scott Somerville has been named CEO and Toni Pinkerton global head of fund services. Tyler Kim is the newly-renamed firm's chief information officer.

"With our new brand, Maples Fund Services is now positioned as a fully outsourced solutions provider," Somerville said. "Over the past eighteen months, we have committed a significant amount of resources to Maples Fund Services, building out a best of breed operational infrastructure and technology platform, re-organizing our executive team, including adding dedicated business development resources in the U.S. and Europe, and ensuring a global platform to offer a customizable service offering."

MaplesFS has offices in New York, the Cayman Islands, Dubai, Dublin, Ireland, Hong Kong and Luxembourg.
