Highbridge Hires Institutional Sales Head

Highbridge Capital Management has hired a member of BlackRock's institutional sales team to lead its own institutional sales effort.

Mark D'Andrea has left BlackRock to take the post at the JPMorgan Chase hedge fund unit, Pensions & Investments reports. BlackRock confirmed that he had "left the firm to pursue other interests."

D'Andrea was a managing director on BlackRock's institutional sales team for the U.S. and Canada.
