Horizon Asset Management Names Chief Compliance Officer

Horizon Asset Management, which manages $5 billion, has named Robin Shulman to the role of chief compliance officer.

Previously, Shulman was a managing director and compliance officer at Seix Investment Advisors.

Hugh Ross, Chief Operating Officer of Horizon, said, “We look forward to leveraging Robin’s expertise managing rigorous compliance programs at significant asset management firms as we further enhance our infrastructure and expand our platform.”

Shulman has more than 15 years of experience as a compliance professional in the financial services industry. At Seix, an institutional investment manager with $25 billion in AUM, Shulman oversaw compliance programs for multiple investment products, including separately managed accounts, mutual funds, hedge funds, and structured products. Prior to joining Seix, she held senior compliance and regulatory consulting roles at Deutsche Asset Management, Americas, Ernst & Young, and Prudential Insurance Company.
