Tokyo-based hedge fund OGI Capital Management is adding to its global macro fund's manpower following the fund's cresting of the US$100 million mark.
OGI has hired Marcus Blomberg to work on the fund, reporting to manager Allan Bedwick, Bloomberg News reports. Blomberg formerly served as a fund manager at Alfred Berg Asset Management, a Swedish money manager owned by BNP Paribas Investment Partners.
The OGI Global Macro Fund has returned about 7.5% this year.
