SYZ Names Clapasson Head of Business Development

The Swiss banking group SYZ & CO has appointed Marc T. Clapasson as head of business development for its institutional management division, SYZ Asset Management.
Marc ClapassonMarc ClapassonClapasson, who joins the group as a senior VP, had previously headed product & client development in Geneva for Millenium Global, a London-based alternative investment specialist. Prior to that, he’d managed the business development and strategy unit of Prime Capital in Frankfurt, where he was also a member of the investment committee. 
Clapasson began his career in 1994 with the UBS Group, where he held several positions in Zurich and London, notably as product specialist for the alternative portfolios of GAM, the alternative management entity of the UBS Group.
Clapasson holds an MBA from the IE Business School in Madrid and a degree in Management and Financial Engineering from HEC/Swiss Finance Institute.
